Something to sit on – feel free to bring a picnic rug and/or camping chairs.

What To Wear
No pressure, but if you dress as a fairy or something along that theme, then that’d be amazing! You may win our fancy dress competition.
This is an open-air event and will go ahead in all weather conditions (unless the conditions pose a threat to public safety). Please check the forecast and dress accordingly.
Please leave your furry friends at home.
As there are alpacas, horses and lots of children at the Scottish Fairy Festival, we cannot allow dogs at this event. Sorry!
Archerfield Walled Garden is, on the whole, wheelchair accessible. We have recently added an electric adult size height adjustable change table in our disabled loo. The car park, gardens, cafe and shops are all on one level with no steps and have flat wide pathways. Our courtyard and footpaths are lightly gravelled.
Here's a bit more on our accessibility:
4 blue badge holder parking bays
2 disabled toilets - one external and one internal
Wall mounted electric height adjustable adult changing table (without hoist) in internal disabled loo
No steps leading into main building or within the building
Double doors at all entrances
Buggy and wheelchair access on the Fairy Trail
The Fairy Trail is a path through the woods. It has lumps and bumps and has not been altered to be wheelchair accessible. We have had a lot of buggies and wheelchairs on the trail without any issues however, it is a natural environment and the weather can alter the terrain. The ground underfoot is mostly solid and flat all year round.
If you would like more information before visiting, please get in touch on 01620 388 588 .
Refunds will be given up until two weeks prior to the event but we will not be processing refunds after that point. In the eventuality of Archerfield Walled Garden cancelling the event due to adverse weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you a full refund.
